Running Girl and Gifts
Dear Friends,
Thank you for visiting the running girl. Since participating in the world championship in Rome back in 1987, I have enjoyed providing autographs to my fans. I love to add this unique running girl figure to my signature, which is now our logo, to symbolize the special joy that running has always brought to me.
Following my injuries in 1996 and 1997, I have enjoyed the time to develop this whimsical symbol into a more permanent reminder of the motto to “never give up.” Since then, items with the running girl logo have been used to support cancer research with the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, to help the Hurricane Katrina Relief Effort, to support the children of the SOS Outreach programs as well as the efforts of the Hoyt Foundation, to inspire runners worldwide, and to promote fitness and health for everyone.
All profits from the sales of items with the running girl logo are donated to various charities our Take The Magic Step Foundation is a partner with.
