This year’s 30th Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) has starting lines in two locations, Sturbridge and Wellesley, and includes some shorter and circuit routes so cyclists of all levels can enjoy this wonderful event. Outside of the traditional Sturbridge to Provincetown 2-day 192 mile challenge, several shorter courses are offered, including a 1-day Wellesley to Wellesley 47 mile route.
This year, each of the more than 5,500 expected cyclists have committed to raising between $1,000 and $4,200. Uta will be participating in the fundraiser’s two-day ride from Wellesley to Bourne on Saturday (84 miles) and from Bourne to Provincetown on Sunday (81 miles). The 8th one-day Dusty Boot Colorado-Eagle River Ride offers three routes riders can choose from: the 100-mile loop beginning and ending at the Beaver Creek Resort, the 100-kilometer route from the Beaver Creek Resort to Dotsero, or the 42-mile route from the Beaver Creek Resort to Eagle and back.Proceeds from the River Ride will benefit the non-profit organization SOS Outreach. Uta will take part in the fundraiser’s 100-mile ride, which has an elevation gain of 2,750 feet. She looks forward to joining hundreds of participants for a fun and challenging ride through the scenic Colorado Rockies with their rolling hills, moderate climbs, and breathtaking peaks.
